Two New QBs for UM

I have been watching Montana Grizzly football all my life. I remember watching Glenn Kozeluh's favorable clockwork to really upset the Idaho State Bengals back at Dornblaser. I enjoyed many games from the comfort of a skybox at Washington-Griz. It was a privileged football life and what's more is I watched the Griz rise to dominance.

As a middle schooler, playing Little Grizzly Football, I enjoyed going to the high school games to idolize and one night I saw a quarterback from Great Falls Russell High School who made a real impression on me. He was smaller, but so cerebral that he simply dominated the game. Every throw was perfect and every receiver was involved. He threw the ball around purpose and it wasn't long before I was at a kid's camp meeting a new freshman (working as a quarterback coach with us kids) at the University of Montana, Dave Dickenson - The Legend of the Fall.

I have seen championship caliber football come out of Missoula and the football that is being played right now is NOT championship football. It's not in that class. It starts with the coach and we don't need any foul language, and then it goes to the quarterback and there we simply need someone who is wicked smart. That's it.

There are two current players that can and, if given the chance, will return the Griz to dominance and they are Garrett Graves and Levi Janacaro. Both these guys are superstars and can lead from the quarterback position. I mean just look at this highlight of Garrett Graves crushing the Loyola Rams in the state championship on Loyola's home field with a hail mary. Maybe the best throw I've ever seen.

I have no idea why they aren't playing quarterback right now! Seriously, do I need to take over?
